Denunciations Protocol

Objectives

• to analyse the criminal system and its operative instances
• to make visible and to denounce criminal system procedures which violate fundamental rights and public liberties
• to make transparent the acting of criminal system operative instances;
• to contribute to the functioning of the nets of Catalan, Spanish, European and international associations which work with topics related to person’s deprivation of liberty
• to implement a mechanism for the prevention of torture in Catalunya according to the Optional Protocol against Torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment
• to closely follow petitions connected with bad treatments from public institutions, associations, study groups or particulars;
• to contribute to the functioning of both the catalan and the spanish Coordinator for the Prevention of Torture;
• to participate in the project “right to Law”
